Our Story

Ming's was born from a simple belief: that Asian street food, at its best, is pure magic. We brought the energy of bustling wok stations to Baku — a city hungry for bold, honest flavour. Every dish we make carries the same fire and intention as the first one.

The Wok Ritual

The wok is our instrument. Cooking at extreme heat over an open flame creates what chefs call "wok hei" — the breath of the wok. That smoky, slightly charred depth you taste? That's not a seasoning. It can't be faked or bottled. It only happens in the moment, cooked to order.
